Vegas Vanguard was founded in 2004 as “Vegas Vanguard Percussion Theatre”, competing in the Winter Guard International Circuit and Southern California Percussion Alliance; the groups is a 3-time medalist at the WGI World Championships in the Percussion Independent A (PAI) Class, and 5-time medalist at the SC-PA Championships in the PAI Class. Vegas Vanguard provides music education to Nevada’s youth (ages 12-22) through marching percussion while teaching the importance of teamwork, dedication, and a positive work ethic to prepare them in becoming future educators and responsible adults.
