1/5

Tourism has one of the most profound impacts on Nevada’s economy, supporting one in every five jobs and producing over $23 billion in local income. It’s my priority to ensure that our state is recognized for its world-class tourist destinations, while also continuing to expand our innovative and business-friendly economic environment.

Governor Lombardo

Nevada is full of world-class destinations. Over the last 20 months I have met residents and tourism industry professionals from all corners of the Silver State to learn from tourism professionals about the incredible communities that work to preserve and restore the history, arts, and culture of Nevada. Travel Nevada and industry professionals continue to efficiently promote tourism to improve the economic vitality of Nevada that ultimately increases visitation and supports residents.

Nevada Lt. Governor, Stavros Anthony

Lt. Governor Athony

Tourism is the economic engine of Southern Nevada. In 2023, Las Vegas welcomed more than 40 million visitors and visitor spending reached an all-time high of $51 billion. This visitor spend directly supports jobs and economic activity and is reinvested back into our community to fund education and public services. We’re grateful to our visitors who keep our city the top tourism destination, and for our hospitality workers who make Las Vegas what it is.

Steve Hill, President & CEO, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority

Reno Tahoe is built on tourism. With more than 40,000 Northern Nevada jobs directly connected to the visitor economy, this industry continues to expand the arts, diversity, entertainment, sporting events and competitions, economic opportunity, and overall quality of life for all the communities throughout the destination.
