As Chief Operating Officer for the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Sue Barton oversees and guides LTVA’s workflow, strategy, and administration of essential business operations and special projects. She collaborates with the leadership team to set and meet business objectives and establish and implement policies that promote LTVA’s culture and vision and contribute to the organization’s overall success.

Sue moved to Lake Tahoe in 1983 from London, and began her career in hospitality and tourism. Prior to joining the LTVA she spent 17 years with the M.S. Dixie at Zephyr Cove, where her roles ranged from Director of Sales to Vice President & General Manager. She served 20 years as Chair of the Reno-Tahoe Territory and still holds a position on that Board.
